What makes a B2B landing page convert

Most pages that underperform do the same few things wrong. None of them are about design polish.

· Landing pages · 4 min read

A B2B landing page has one job. A visitor arrives from an email, an ad or a post, and the page should help the right ones take one clear next step. When pages underperform, it is usually because they try to do four jobs at once.

One page, one offer

Decide what you want the visitor to do. Book a demo, download a guide, join a webinar. Every part of the page should point toward that. Extra navigation, a second offer and a row of unrelated links give people reasons to leave.

Say who it is for in the first screen

A visitor should know within a few seconds that the page is for someone like them. Name the role or the problem. A headline that could sit on any company’s page tells them nothing.

Match the page to the promise

If the email said a guide to hiring in Singapore, the page should open on exactly that. A mismatch between what was promised and what appears is one of the quickest ways to lose someone.

Keep the form short

  • Ask only for what you need to follow up.
  • Say what happens after they submit.
  • Make the confirmation clear, so they know it worked.

Give proof, plainly

A named customer quote, a specific result or a short description of how it works does more than adjectives. Only use proof that is true and that you can show.

How Levric does it

In Levric, you ask Chief for a page and it is built in your brand, live in a preview while you talk. You see the page take shape and ask for changes in plain words. Every publish waits for your approval.
